Independent of all other revolutionary movements in Mexico, there has for somo months been an insurrection, in _ lower California, centred on a Socialistic purpose, the object being tho establishment of a Utopia, which, though born amid tho singing of bullets, ultimately is to know 110 bloodshed or warfare of men or money. This assertion was made in February by both leaders of tho insurgents, Leyva and Berthold. The success of the movement admittedly depends upon tho results of the agitation and tho support of Socialists and the Industrial Workers of tho World.
