♦ NEW SOUTH WALES RETURNS. ' By Telegraph—Press Asscciaticra-Oopyrliht. Sydney, Juno 7. • The number of horses in New South Wales at tho end of the past year was 650,591, an increase of 15,720. Cattle numbered 3,132,228, an increase of 101,500. Sheep totalled 15,825,300, a decrease of 377,270. Pigs numbered 321,541, an increase ol 83,695. Agricultural statistics show'that the State's total wheat yield was 28,604,817 bushels, or an average of 13.2 bushels per acre. shortage of lambs accounts for the decrease in the number of sheep, olde* sheep showing an increase of over 131,000.
