TO-DAY'S DINNER.
(Specially written for The Dominion.) THURSDAY. Carrot soup. Sausages in batter, rotatocs. Turnips. Cottage pudding. SAUSAGES IN BATTER. 2 pounds sausages, ilb. flour, i pint of milk, 1 egg, a pinch of salt, i teaspoonful of baking powder. Mix tho flour and salt together; make a well; break in tho egg, and add a little of the milk. Mix gradually to a smooth batter. Hold tho basin on one side and beat for ten minutes. Add tho rest of tho milk and allow it to stand for two hours. Grcaso a piedish; skin the sausages, and put them in the dish. Add the baking powder to the batter, and pour it over tho sausages. Bake in a quick oven for about ono hour. Servo with a good brown sauce. FOE TO-MORROW. Ono schnapper. Veal forcemeat. Anchovy essence. Cauliflower. Golden syrup. Suet.
