Luke, Mrs. A. A. Corrigan, Miss M. E. Bobiefon, and Mrs. W. B. Fisher (lion, secrcThe report for May submitted by the senior district nurso stated that Nurses Sexton and Macandrow had been kept busy since Inst meeting, 858 visits having been paid to the sick poor in their own homes. Tho nurse also reported that twelve new patients had been registered, six discharged, eight vero daily attended to at the office, and three had been sent to the General Hospital. Soup, old linen, and other comforts had been sent to the nurses by: Mesdames McLean, Preston, Luke Bnicombe-Brnwn, Tripe, Moorhouse, Harper, Mitford, Young, Downhard. Hilyer M'Morran. Waters, Denton. TCobieson', Chatwin, Band, Kane. Hanwell, Lissack Scobie, Mackenzie, Sanson, Lyons, Miss Cnrrigan. "A Friend," Gear Company, "Lena," "Two-Garment Society," aiid "Kia, Ora Centre Girls' lioalm ' Tho' committee acknowledges the following additional subscriptions :-Mrs. Bal-combe-Brown, £2; Mrs. W. Campbell (per. Mrs. J. P. Luke), £1.

Members and those interested are reminded of the annual meeting of the Wellington Homing Pigeon Society, which takes place this evening. Tho sport of pigeon-racing has made great progress during recent years, and the society is now very strong.
