Among the shipment of draughts which Air. F. A.Brancr, of Okaiawa (Taranaki), has taken .to Australia, is the entire Lord I'lr-ikiiic.

A meeting of .the fiub-coinmitteo of the Feilding A. and ]'. Association was held on Friday afternoon, Mr. Campbell presiding. The rjuc.stioii of tho Technical School authorities starting a veterinary class in Feildiitf was discussed. The meeting was enthusiastic mi the matter, and the necessary support is forthcoming. Tho director of the Technical School will make the necessary arrangement with Mr. Quinnell, F.R.C.Y.S., Wellington, to start a class at an early date.—"Manawatu Times."

The Konini (Pahiatua) correspondent of an exchange writes:—"Although during the autumn months the drought was tho cause of the milk supply at tho factory being considerably less than was delivered in the former season, the past month has been exceptionally favourable for the dairymen. The average daily supply.at the Konini butter factory last week was about 900 gallons, a trifle better than the supply in the same week of 1910. Of tho three skimming stations, Scarborough shows the biggest decrease. The overage daily output is about twenty boxes."

Most of the crops in the Pahiatua district were harvested in good weather, and the chaff is reported- to be of a very goad class. Farmers of Tarata and Kaimafa, with additions from Lepp-erlon and other districts, are to pav a visit to the MoumaJiaki State Farm on Juno 9, states the New Plymouth "News."

The fertile Konini flats aro looking in excellent condition, and there is ample evidence that tho pasture is still growing, says the "Herald." The hills of limestone formation are looking equally well. '
