Mr. Denny, Attorney-General, has outlined the new Arbitration Act, which ho hopes will abolish irritating ami inconvenient strikes. It provides for legislation with regard to all trades unions and industrial organisations, also for notification of threatened or impending industrial disputes. A GENERAL STRIKE. Vienna, Juno 2. Five thousand five hundred sailors and dockers at Fiumo have struck for an increase of wages. A general strike has developed.
