TOFUA REFLOATED.
~ g THIRD MATE KILLED. By TeWraDh—Press Association—Oonyricht Suva, Juno 2. The Union Company's steamer Tofua floated off tlio rcof in the Navula passago last niglit without aid. The third mate was accidentally killed and the boatswain injured. , VESSEL APPAIiENTLY UNDAMAGED. (Rec. June 2, 9.30 p.m.) Sydney, Juno 2. Advices from Fiji stato that tlio Tofua is apparently undamaged, and has proceeded on her voyage. Mr. Hudson, the third officer, was a 'widower, and was well known in Sydney. Ho had joined the Union Company -only recently. (By Telegraph— Presa Association.! Auckland, June 2. When the Tofua was last liere, the third mate was C. S. Hudson. The name of the boatswain is unknown to tho Union Company's office here.
