FREE FIGHT IN PARIS.
SOCIALISTS AND POLICE. By Telcirrath— Press Association—OopyrlEht (Rec. Juno 2, 0,5 a.m.) Paris, June 1. Serious strike incidents, including shooting cases, have been frequent during the last few days. Yesterday a number of Anarchists and Socialists assembled at the prison gates to welcome on their release the women who were imprisoned in connection with (he May Day demonstration. The police intervened to prevent a procession, and a free fight ensued. Revolvers were fired freely, and two sergeants, nine policemen, and a number of others wero seriously injured. Several arrests were made.
