9 PILGRIMS KILLED BY MOLTEN LAVA. By Telegra-ph— Press Assodation-OopyrlEht Vancouver, May 31. News by the Japanese steamer states tKat many pilgrims were burned by molten lava during an eruption of Mount Asarnayania, a volcano north-west of Tokio. An annual festival was in progress when tho eruption occurred. The number of dead is not yet known.
