4 : FATAL FLOODS IN GERMANY. Br Telccrani—Press Association—Oopyrirtl (Kec. May 31, 10.10 p.m.) Berlin, May 31.' Violout thunderstorms are reported from South Germany. Tho river Paimar overflowed its banks near Stuttgart, and swept away six. houses. Twelve persons wero drowned, including a family of six. Pour persons were also drowned at Heidelberg, and several children are missing. SEVERE HAILSTORM. (Rec. May 31, 10.40 p.m.) Brussels, May 31. Hailstones billed thousands of birds. Fourteen workmen sheltering in a shed in the Mons district were struck by lightning, and all were seriously injured.
