WEEKLY DAY OF REST.
BRITISH LABOUR BILL.

In the House of Commons, Mr. George Lansbury, Labour member for Tower Hamlets, introduced a Bill providing for a weekly day of rest, making May 1 a bank holiday, securing a week's holiday a year for workers, and the payment of wages on, public '-holidays.
