AMATEUR ATHLETICS.
GUY HASKIXS. Mr. A. Marryatt, chairman of the local committee of the Festival of Empire Sports movement, has received a letter from Guy Haskins, tho Now Zealand representative, stating that tho latter arrived in Philadelphia feeling very well, but on the big side. Haskins will leave Philadelphia for England on Juno 3 and, by that time, will havo completed seven weeks' training with "Mike" Murphy, who had inform" ed Haskins that ho would have to bo on the track twice a dav.
