i> LABOUR PARTY'S VIEWS. C.v Telecrarb-Pres3 Association-Oopyrieht Laiidon, May 25. Speaking on the National Insurance. Bill in tho House of Commons, Mr. G. N. Barnes, Labour member Tot tho Blackfrars Division of Glasgow, said tlio Labour party had some misgivings regarding tho continued efficiency of trado unions- under the Bill. They would support tho second reading, but their future action would bo largely determined by the alterations made in fcho Bill in Committee. Tho Labeur party, ho added, was unnble to aftreo to the clause, depriving trades uniens of tho full control of their 'funds. Tho Labour party would insist on unemployed benefits being distributed through tho trades unions.'
