LIVE STOCK SALES.

Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—At our Palmerston North sale yesterday a full yarding of sheep met with a, dragging sale, the greater portion of the entry being passed in under the hammer. Sales were effected at the following cmotations:—Fat and forward two-tooth wethers, 13s. lid.; fat and forward ewes, Us. 2d. to 125.; forward ewes. 9s. to 9s. id.:' mixed age ewes in lamb, 7s. Three-year bullocks, £5 135.; fat cows, £5 12s. to £6 25.; forward cow-s, £2 10s. to £3 165.; store- cows. 30b. to £2: wcancrs, 255.; dairy heifers, £5 10s.; dairy cows, £1. The Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report:—At Palmerston North yesterday wo had a good entry of both sheop arid cattle, and a good clearance was effocted, prices being in favour of purchasers. Sheep: Cut! lambs, 2s. 4d.; small lambs, 4s. 5d.; forward lambs, 7s. 10d.; store wethers, 11s. 2d.; Br/nney ewes in lamb, 10s. to 11s.: f.m. cwA in lamb. 6s. Bd. to 9s. 3d.; cull cwqs, 4s.
