THE REFORM CAMPAIGN.
ME. MASSEY'S SOUTHERN TOUR. (By Telegraph-Press Association.) Waimate, May 25. Mr. Massey, the Leader of the Opposition, delivered a political address here this evening to a largo audience, nnd met with a good reception. He spoke for two hours. He condemned tho land policy and finance of tho Government, dealing with these subjects at considerable length, and giving particulars regarding methods of public expenditure. He touched on industrial matters and the independence of the Bench, and condemned in strong terms the Tammanyisin which he alleged existed in tho Government of the country. He was accorded a hearty vote of thanks for his address.
