(From Our Special Correspondent^ Yesterday morning, at tho Lower Hntt Court, Peter John lrasor Shaw was charged, before Messrs. Chapman and Cudbv, with having no visible means ot support. He was convicted and discb °ed, and ordered to corno up for sentence when called upon. A condition was made that he should leave tho district at ° n Much enthusiasm is being shown in connection with tho production of the cantata "Britannia and her Daughters, which is to be given in King George Tlmitrp Lower llutt, carlj in Juno. Practice's are being well attended. The orchestra under the leadership of Mr. 1! Wood is well under way, mid is likely to prove one of tho features of tho produel ion.
