REPORT REAFFIRMED. (By Telegraph-Press Association.! Invereargill, May 22. At a temperance rally 011 Sunday night, the Mayor (Mr. Ott) referred to the orgy in the park recently referred to in various papers, and said that the statement published by the "Southland Times" was exaggerated., The "Times" in reporting the Mayor's remarks, says that the only error in its former paragraph was as to tho quantity of beer consumed, which had been slightly understated.
