BOY SCOUTS.
A MEMORIAL PARADE. The Wairarapa battalion of the Dominion Boy Scouts, under the command of Scoutmasters Roydhousc and Fairbrother, held their monthly church parade at St. Luke's, fircytown, on Sunday, at 2.30. After servica they inarched to 'the Greytown Cemetery, where their chaplain (the Rev. A. T. B. Paje) placed a wreath on the gravo of the late Corporal Rogers, who was recently drowned in Lake Wairarapa. Corporal Rogers had belonged to the Stratford troop.of Bov Scouts, and the wreath had been sent" liv that troop. In placing the wreath on tlio grave the chaplain said: ""In'the name of the Stratford troop of the Dor.iiuion B.iv Scouts, I here place this wreath as a token cf their affecttonate nnd in honour to the memory of their comrade, the Lite Corporal Rogers. In sure and certain hope that hereafter, in the many mansions of our I-atiicrs Kingdom, we shall meet njam those comrades who have cone be.llV by tho grace ol the Holy Spirit, so live our liv-es, day by day, that hou-ever and whenever the snmmons of death shall come we mav be prepared and found not unworthy of the reunion for which we hope," Death is the. crown of life.
