CENTRAL MISSION.
There was a fair attendance tho Central Sfission service ■in the ' King's Theatre last evening. Tho soloist' of the evening, Sirs. Lewis, sang "Oh, Rest in the Lord," and the Silver Band contributed a selection. The Rev. E. 0. Blamires, who conducted the service, gavo one of his popular story recitals. Tho talo selected was taken from Sir. Harold Begbio's new book, "In tho Hands of the Potter." Entitled "The Story of a White Flower," it tells how a young girl, member of an -unfortunate class, was inspired to seek a restoration of character and status by her contemplation of the white purity of a flower which she. had picked up in the street at midnight. Though slight in construction, tho story is instinct with pathetic grace, and Mr. Blamires brought' out its beauties with sympathetic skill.
