Owing to a dispute between the Cobor Copper Company and the Railway Commissioners ono colliery at Lithgow has been shut down, and unless tho dispute is settled in a few days other works will also bo closed. This would mean the suspension of work for 10,000 men. Tho company alleges that owing to faulty scales tho Commissioners; charged' excessive freights, which they refused to pay. Tho Commissioners now decline to handlo goods except on a cash basis.
