To-day, the Hon. J. Carroll, tho Hon. J. A. Millar, the Hon. G. Fowlds, and tho Hon. A. T. Ngata will bo in Wellington; the Hon. T. Mackenzie is in Wcreroa, the Hon. It. M'Kenzie at Nelson; and tho Hon. D. Buddo at Dunedin. Mr. Justico Chapman leaves for Auckland to-day. Mr. W. A. Smith, of the Bank of New Zealand, Suva, Fiji, was a passenger by tho Main Trunk express from Auckland yesterday.

Mr. T. Arthur, of Hobson Street, lato traffic superintendent of New Zealand railways, has received advice by cable that his son, Mr. S. Harcourt Arthur, has been successful in passing his third professional examination in medicine, and in class examinations has secured first and second-class honours.

Lieutenant-Colonel W. G. Dutliie, Officer Commanding the Fifth Wellington tittles, has granted tho members of "G" Company (formerly tho Wellington Highlanders) permission to wear kilts at the social functions to ho held in connection with the movement to raise money for providing the company with hilts.
