■ . -Q — A REQUEST FOR REINSTATEMENT. (Dy Tclcura'ph.—Suocial Correspondent.) Auckland, May 19. The Knyvett Defence Committee ia satisfied with the result of the Court Martial reported yesterday. Mr. .1. S. Dickson (chairman of (hi!- ramvnUtoc) stated that Mr. Knyvett had laid that the trial was a fair and impartial one, and this was all the committee wanted. Mr. Dickson stated that the. case had homo good fruit in. setting up a court for the . trial of all charges against Territorials. Me added that Mr. Knyvctt's solicitor would now writo to the Department that t'i<> letter on which the charge was based was couched in insnbordinato term);, and ask- that Mr. Knyvett ho reinstated.
