A meeting of the Wellington Metropolitan Coursing Club was lick] at tho Now Zealandcr Hotel on Thursday night, Air. J. Wareham presiding. The secretary (.Mr. James C. H. Donoglnie) reported that the club had mado a profit over the club's inaugural meeting, held on Easter Saturday and Monday. It was also reported that tho wire-netting in tho club's enclosure at Wallacevillo was the cause of tho hares boing weak at tho Easter meeting. The secretary was instructed to make arrangements for n mooting to bo held on the first suitable dates, when a I maiden and open stakes will be decided.
