THE MACDONALD CASE.

DEFENDANT'S HEALTH. Tho question of ths custody of tho Hon. T. K. Macdonald, M.L.0., under writ of attachment, will again come before the Chief Justice and Mr'. Justice Chapman at 2 p.m. to-day. During this week Mr. Macdonald has been examined by several medical men sent to him by counsel for the plaintiffs, and affidavits have been sworn by them. It was to enable this to bo done, by way of aiiswer to tho affidavits filed at the end 'of last week by counsel for Hie-defence, .that tho case was adjourned until to-day. Tho Chief Justice stated last Saturday that the Court had not yet made up its mind as to whether ill-health on the part of the defendant would be a ground for discharge.
