In conseriuencc of Mr. iloore's breakdown from overwork, the London Committee (with the sanction of the local committee) have appointed Mr. F. S. Shell, their Adelaide'agent, as Acting-Misfionnr here. Uγ. Shell will alfo take un tho duties of agput for the Shipwreck Relief Association and Royal Humane Society, positions hold by Mr. Moore. Mr. Moore states that there has boon such a poor response (-£2 l. r is.) from his appeal to clear off a debt for f;n.=, etc., that had accrued during his illnes?, that he fear? tho matter must havo escaped the attention of the public, and that as he lraves for England bv the Rotorua on Juno 1, ho would be very grateful for donations lo enable- him to clear off Ihe debt before tho arrival of the Actinj-Missionor.
