"DISASTROUS TO TRADE.", By Telegraph-Press Association-Copyrieht , Sydney, May IG. A meeting of tho Shopkeepers' Defence Association condemned the Saturday halfholiday us proving disastrous to trade. It was stated that the gTeat majority cf the suburban shopkeepers were determined to open their shops on Saturday afternoon, in defiancD of the law.
