PUBLIC SUPPLIES POSSIBLE. By Telecraph—Press Association-Oopyrleht Sydney, May IG. Many persons have written to Mr. Griffith, Minister for Public Works, stating that they are being prevented from building owing to the high price being asked for bricks, and requesting the Government to supply bricks to them. The Minister states that unless the brickmakers make a material' reduction befcro January next, the Government will comply with the request and supply bricks to the public at a price which will astonish the trade.
