SHOPS BILL.
HOLIDAYS AND OVERTIME. By Telesrapb-l'ress AESodation-Ooßyrielit London, May 12. The Standing Committee of the House of Commons introduced, despite opposition by Mr. Churchill (Home Secretary), an amendment to the Government's Shops Bill, permitting the working of additional overtime in return for holidays exceeding a week, but under a fortnight.
