The Spanish steamer Debayo has been sunk through a collision at Dungeness, on tho coast of Kent. The captain, mate, and three of the crew were drowned. A STEAMEE RAMMED. New York, May 12. The.steamer Merida, of the Ward line, with two hundred passengers on board, while on her way from Havana, was rammed by the steamer Admiral Farragut, and sank five hours later. Her passengers were got off safely. - (Eec. May 14, 5.5 p.m.) London, May 13. The steamer Merida sank off ■ Cape Charles, on the coast of Virginia. She was insured in London for .£170,009.
