On the motion of Mr. J. W. Macdonald, the Supreme Court yesterday granted to tho Public Trustee probate of the wills of the undermentioned, deceased persons:—Stephen Melvin, formerly known as Stephen Pudiicy, lato of Colyton, farmer; Henry M'Donald, lato of' Mount Somers, carrier; James M'lntyre Martin, late of Christchvtrch, engineer; Joseph Goodwin Inviu, lato of Napier, draper; Henry Mouat.late of Duncdin, mariner; Alexander Urquhart, lato of- Lako Hayes, near Arrowtoivji, farmer; Archibald Wood, lato of Oarnaru, asylum warder, formerly of Ediiiburgh, .Scotland, bridgebuilder; Ernest Carl Wilhelm Hanker, otherwise known as Ernest Frederick William Hanker, late of Raetilii, farmer; Jane White, lato of Blackball, married woman.

Orders to adminster were also granted to tho Public Trustee in respect of tho estates of the following ;—Peter Wilson, late, of Christch'urch, sexton; James Reynolds, late of Pnkekohc, farmer; Helen Aagaard, late of Stratford, domestic help. An application also came before the Court for authority to sell certain realty subject to a trust contituted by one John Maber, of Kaiapoi, many years ago.- His Honour, after reading the evidence submitted to tho Court, made an order authorising tho sale. An order to sell renltv was also granted in the estate of William L. Rodgers, la'te of Fukckohc, farmer.
