DEATH ENDS ROMANCE.
AUSTRALIAN LADY WHO FOUND HER LOVER DYING.
There was a pathetic sequel to an Irish ronianco at an inquest held at St. Paneras on March 20, concerning tho-death of William Curley, aged seventy-two, late of Dublin.
Samuel Curley, a son, living in Dublin, stated that his father left Ireland four months ago for Australia to marry a younger lady. He became ill and went into hospital at Colombo, and after a time was sent back to Ireland. On reaching London it lvas deemed advisable to take him to University College Hospital, whero lie died.
Hiss Fanny Doughty, tlio Australian lady, said deceased wrote to her from Nnplfs saying lie liatl been taken ill, and she afterwards heard of his being in a hospital at Colombo. He sent her a draft for JC3OO, and she visited him there, returning, with him to London.
