Brown, engineer of the steamer Jane Douglas, signed off the vessel yesterday. Laden with 400,000 ft. of timber for Dunodin and the Bluff, the Union Company's steamer Kaitangata left Hobart on Wednesday. Mr. R. Henry has succeeded Mr. F. Armstrong a.s engineer on the Kapiti.
