(From Our Special Correspondent.! ♦— A Tory pleasant .little ceremony took place at" Lower Hutt Station last night, when Mr. "Wilson, who is leaving for Master ton, and Jlr. W. Anderson, who is being removed to the relieving railway staff, were presented with a travelling bag, and travelling trunk and hang-bag respectively by the stationmaster fJtr. Hart) on behalf of the railway employees at Lower Hutt.

Tho anniversary of the Lower Hull Wesley Church wns celebrated on Sunday last, and the celebration was continued on Wednesday. The services were taken on Sunday by the. Rev. Mr. Seamer, of Pcfrne, and' the.' liev. B. H. Ginger. The usual tea, followed by a public, meeting, was held in the schoolroom. One of the features of- the tea was the tabic provided by the young men of the Church. . It was presided over by Messrs. Aldersley, Chapman, Neil-son, and Parker. Tlil- ladies were: Mesdames Wcbley, Ward, Smith, and Misses Spilman, Garlick, Wood, Avison, and Ginger! The meeting, which was well attended, was presided over by the Rev. IS. H. Ginger. Solos were given bv Miss Bennett and Mr. K. Orr, duets by Miss Bennett and Mr. Saunders, and Messrs. Suumlors and Orr, anthems by the choir, and addresses by the Rev. Mr. Seamer, Rev. Mr. M'C'aav, and Rev. Mr. Harris.
