The following appointments are gazet-ted-.—Mr. William Armstrong, Commissioner of Crown lands, Chief Surveyor, and Conservator of State I'orests. Taranaki, in the placo of Francis Simpson, retired. Dr. A. S. Wohlmnnn, Medical Officer of Health, Rotorua Town and County. Mr. H. L. Welch, Receiver of land Revenue, Marlborough. Messrs. H. M. Reader and Archibald M'Callum, members of the Marlborough Land-Board. Mr. R. M. Birrell, member of Hawke's Bay Laud Board. ' Mr. J. M'Hattie. Deputy-Registrar of Marriages, etc., Dannevirke; Jfr. J. Holmes, Deputy-Registrar of Births and Deaths, Upper Hutc. Constable George Clark Clouston, of dpunakc, official member of the Tavanaki District Maori Council, vice Constable T. Hickman, retired. Constable John Robert Rsson, Clerk of the Magistrate's Court, at Mangaweka. A largo number of appointments in the Post and Telegraph Department are also gazetted. The resignations of the following officers arc also gazetted :—Messrs. G. St. V. Keddell and K. F. Luks, Denartment of Lands; Mr. K. P. O'Donnell, clerk in the Patents Office. The resignation of Mr. W. R. \kroyd, member, of the Hawke's Bay Land Board, is also gazetted.
