The trial of the four persons accused of being concerned in the burglary of a jeweller's shop at Houndsditch' in December last, the sequel to which was the killing of ( three police and tho wounding of two others, was continued at tho Old Bailey before Mr. Justice Grantharn. and a jury. Kurka Dubof, painter, aged 21, ono of the accused, gavo evidence on his own behalf. He disclosed a remarkable history of his persecution in Russia. Dubof admitted that he had visited the missing. man, "Peier tho Painter," and that he also knew Gardstein, the Russian who was fatally shot in the affray.
