Strong easterly winds and showery weather have been experienced northward ol East Cape and Kawliia, but maderate and variable winds c!:ewL'crc. Fogs and much hazo were reported to-day, but the weather has been fine in meet porta of the country. The barometer has fallen everywhere, and especially in the far north. Pro/.'nt indications are for a falling barometer everywhere. Rain is probable northward of Kawhia and Castlepoint, and increasing haze n::d cloudiness may precede n change shortly in otliei parti oi the country.
