THE "ZOO" AT ABAMOHO. (By Tclcsrauh.—Special Corresaocdent.t Wanganui, May 9. Regarding the Onchunga protest against the proposed Zoo there on account of the possibility of it harbouring rats, Mr. Boyd states that ho lias jio't seen a rat at the Aramoho Zoo for months. Tlio food fot tho animals is prepared in a high building, and there is nothing there to encourage rats; neither will there be at Onelninca. Messrs. Redmond and Donovan aro tho two envoys entrusted with tho Home Rule campaign in this district. They speak at Wanganui on May 19.
