TUB AFFAIR AT KOHN'S SHOP. (By TelcEraph— Press Association.) Auckland, May 8. The arrest of William Rogers and .Airs. Maud Rogers, charged with burglary at Kohn's jewellery shop. Auckland, was made bv the police a.t San Francisco on the arrival of the steamer Manuka. The arrested persons (who had jewellery in their possession) are not known to the police in New Zealand under the names givun. The fact that the San Francisco polico are able to furnish the alias of the male suspect leads to the surmise, (hat the couple are Americans. If the accused are to be brought back, Kohn's trustees will have to pay the costs of the return journey, and there is also the question of extradition. It has not yet been decided what steps the authorities will tal-a.
