CITY COUNCIL SUPPLIES.
The tenders of Messrs. Richardson, Blair, and Ltd., for tho supply of 50 gear wheels and 200 pinions, and the -supply of armature coils for the City Council were signed yesterday. The price for the first-named contract is ,£293 lfls. 2d., the unsuccessful tenderers being: H. S. King,'.£266 13s. 4d.; Empire Oil Co., .£2Ol 55.; P. R. Baillie, .£305; Turnbull and Jones, .£310; A. D. Riley, JM33 os. Id.; J. Chambers and Son, .£555 lGs.-Bd.rand P. Holmes, JEBB7 10s. Tho successful tenderers' price for the ama-. turo coils was .£2lB 155., unaccepted tenders being: Empire Oil Co., .£225; Baillie and Co., 4281; British General Electric Co., .£236 10s.; Turnbull and Jones, .£733 6s. Bd. The tender of Ncilson, Murray, and Frederic for iron foundry work for. the year was signed yesterday. The unsuccessfu] tenderers were: Johns, Wallace, and Muir. Cable and Co., and D. Robertson and Co.
