Tho Talisman Goldmiuing Company during April crushed and treated 3620 tons of ore for a yield of bullion valued at £17,627 9s. 7d. Tho smaller tonnage crushed compared with other months was owing to the maino being closed down during the Easter holiday's. The costs for tho past month totalled 375. 2d. per ton, made up as follow: —Mine development, 9s. 5t1.; mining, lis. Bd.; milling, 13s. lid.; general expenses. 2s. 2d. Tho total value of bullion -won from tho mine to date is £1,483,746. TALISMAN CONSOLIDATED. Tho following telegram was received yesterday by the Wellington Stock Exchange from the Talisman inine:-Apri! return: crushed 3520 tons, value £17,627 9s. 7d.; Smaller tonnage owing Easter holidays cost 37s 2d.; development 9s. Ed., mining 113. Bd.. milling 13s. lid., general 2s. 2d. A lafr message stated that tho company has declared a dividend of Is. 6d. per share payable on May 25.
