WAGES AT HOB ART. By Telcsranh-Press Association-Oopyrißht Hobart, May 8. Trouble has boon threatened for somo time in tho printing trade. Tho Typographical Society demanded an increase in wages from £i 12s. to JC3 for a week of forty-eight hours. Tho master printers agreed to meet tho men half-way, but the society refused the offer and threatened an immediate cessation of work. The masters thereupon conceded the demand, but under protest.
