Arnst, in referring to tho cable message stating that Sullivan had challenged Barry for ,i race on -the Thames on his behalf, declared that Sullivan had taken it upon himself to issue tho challenge, but- ho (Arnst) would not move out of Australia for X2OO expenses unless a JMOO "gate" was guaranteed, as he wants ,£SOO anyhow. Ho added that his hands at present were full in preparing for Pearce.
