A REPORT FROM THE WEST COAST. It.was stated in Wellington yesterday, that butter was beinK retailed at IK-d. on the West Coast of the South Island. A Wellington firm was asked to.r;-iotefpr an order. It did so, and tho reply contained the above statement. It is not known whether there arc special circumstances, but".lljd. , is 2Jd. less than tho Wellington retail price. It is not the first time that the Coast lias sold at much less than other places.
