On opening a. barrel of apples froni Vancciiver, British Columbia, recently, an Islington (London) fruiterer discovered the following among the contents:— "I am looking for a good-looking young man. If the man that gets this box of apples is half-way good looking send mo i letter.—Yours as over,—Ellen M. Stafford." "B.S.D. No. ,4, Vancouver. "P.S.—Ho must b9 at least thirty years Did, and mult bo able to support an autonobile. See?"
