ARRESTED CARD-SHARPERS.
HEAD OF AN INTERNATIONAL GANG. Br Telegraph—Press Association-Oopyricbt Berlin, April 30. The capture at Calcutta of the socalled Barou von Koeniz, head of an international gang of card-sharpers, has led to a request, for his extradition, llis real name is Stallum. His dupes or alleged accomplices included Count Giesbcrt Wolff-Metternicli. RUSSIAN "COUNT" IN TROUBLE.' Paris, April 30. A Russian, Count Ostrovsky, alias Count Crankoff, a card-sharper and international hotel t'aief, has been arrestel in the Riviera. His biggest haul was five thousand pounds' worth of jewellery in Berlin, for which he suffered a leng term of imprisonment.
