DESIGNING A CAPITAL.
AUSTRALIA'S REQUIREMENTS By Teleeraph—Preßs Association-Copyrizht, (Rsc. May 1, 9.5 p.m.) Sydney, May 1. Papers have been issued in connection with the Federal capital design competition describing the necessary buildings. It is set out that the Houses of Parliament must be the dominating feature in 'the city. Besides the ordinary public buildings, the designers must provide residences for the Governor-General and the Prime Minister, churches, a national theatre, Government factories, and a sports stadium.
