J. i Chapman presiding. j Correspondent was read from tho Min- { istcr of Internal Affairs granting permis- ;• sion to hold an art union in conjunction ; with the show in July. Donations to tho t funds were received from Messrs. J. Mar- !. tin (Martinboivmgh) and Mr. W. C. I .Buchanan, Jf.P. 1 ■ It was decided to procure a challenge ; rilvor cup for competition, to bo awarded •;.- to tho best bird in the show, pigeons, ■ bantams, and cage birds exempted. ; The programme will bo issued shortly, i Mr. If.' J. E. Meyrick headed tho list : for the silver cup with a guinea, and was ; accorded a hearty vote of thanks.
