THE OSBORNE JUDGMENT.

AN IMPORTANT DECISION. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyrisht (Rec. April 29, 0.33 a.m.) London, April 28. Mr. Justice Parker, in tho case of Wilson versus the Amalgamated Society of Engineers, decided that the method of collecting tho so-called voluntary subscriptions circumvented tho Osborne Judgment. The subscriptions wero really compulsory, because, unless members, when asked to subscribe, dissented in a particular way, payment was obligatory. An injunction was granted, not only in terms of the Osborne Judgment, ..which was confined to levies for Parliamentary purposes, but extended to municipal and other local elections, except Boards of Guardians.
