BUTTER AND CHEESE TO LONDON. JS'ow that the season for shipping dairy produce to London' lias just about concluded, all connected with tho dairy industry will be interested to know tho quantities shipped. Tho following tables trace tho progress of the season. The ngures given as the *otal on each steamer are for the whole of New Zealand—that is, the South Island figures are included in the total, but only details of tho Aorth Island shipments are set out. The figures concerning tho quantities the Kuapeliu is taking on her present trip are not complete. The Patea, New Plymouth, and Wellington figures are correct, but tho total is an estimate. From thesis tables it will be seen that between August and the present tiino New Zealand has sent to London 627,319 boxes of butter and 233,222 crates of cheese:— BUTTER. (No. of Boxes Dispatched.)
