ARNST-PEARCE MATCH SETTLED. By Teleeraph-Press Association-Copyrichi (Eec. April 27, 9.30 p.m.) Sydney, April 27. Arnst and Pearce met to-day, and arranged to row for the championship of the world and five hundred pounds aside on July 8 or on tho following Saturday, Pearce making a deposit of ,6500 to fix tho race. Pearce wanted Arnst to stick to his promise to row in ten weeks' time, but Arnst wanted more time in order to consult his supporters and prepare. Ho promised to cable his supporters asking them lo cover Pcarco's deposit in a few days, They could then sign articles.
